Christmas at Domazan

Apart from the fact that the date on this post is correct for the event, but not for the day it was written, there is not a lot to say about Christmas at Domazan. We celebrated the new year with the church at Cognac (another post) but June was keen to advertise just how cosy the cottage was. We certainly relaxed and unwound, with British TV for the first time in months, and a 'real log fire', and found it easy to put on a little weight!
Sunny outside, cosy and warm inside
As you can see, we dragged the old tree out and bothered to decorate. The fire kept in continuously for 3 weeks (although down to embers at times) and the cat got used to enjoying the garden.
On that point, the cat would to decide to go out when she noticed we were going to bed. Since there is no cat-flap it involved checking the door again after twenty minutes. We got into the habit of making the 'going to bed' signs in plenty of time!
